Our Top 5 of 2015

Every year brings new opportunities to apply the kitchen and bath design process, our experience, and exciting new products and trends to our customers’ remodeling requirements.  We love to see the design process go from concept to completion, and most of all we enjoy seeing the finished design become a part of clients’ homes and family life.  2015 was a great year for transforming spaces from kitchens to bathrooms to laundry rooms, and even for whole home renovation projects.  It is very difficult to pick our favorites, but here is a top 5 list of our remodeling projects in 2015.

A Total Home Transformation

This home in the beautiful Bucks County countryside was transformed into a showstopper by renovating spaces throughout the entire house.  The large-scale project in Doylestown was completed prior to the owners’ taking up residence, and updated spaces from the master suite to the kitchen to the basement, and everything in between.

The kitchen design completely remodeled the old kitchen, and combined rustic details like the reclaimed barn wood and Bucks County stone with warm wood floors and an oak range hood.  These wood tones sit in contrast to the white kitchen cabinets and airy atmosphere of the kitchen/dining/living space.

Two downstairs powder rooms were updated, each with its own unique style.

The home renovation included two guest bathrooms upstairs, one with a wall-mounted DuraSupreme vanity and the other with an eye catching black and white design, tile floor with inlay design, and a frameless glass shower.

The master suite received the most dramatic transformation of all.  It included removing walls and turning the space into a luxurious bedroom with a customized petrified wood fireplace surround, a new walk-in closet, and a contemporary master bathroom design with a large shower and freestanding tub.

The project also included a laundry room, Bourbon bar, home office, and a wine cellar featuring a Breezaire wine refrigeration unit and Vintage View wine racks.

It was an amazing project to design and we love the finished product.

Modern Farmhouse Kitchen and Farmhouse Laundry Room

The highlight of this renovation project in Washington Crossing is the beautiful kitchen that combines a rustic farmhouse style with state of the art appliances and storage.  The two-toned cabinetry has a distressed finish and the countertop includes a recessed cutting board that provides a unique feature in the room.  The remodeling project also included a laundry room with a bootbench to keep the whole family organized, and an adjacent powder room with a vanity cabinet in the same finish as the kitchen cabinets.

White Shaker Kitchen

This transitional kitchen combines white cabinetry and backsplash with stainless appliances and design accents to create a sleek yet comfortable space.  The quartz countertops and medium wood tones of the floor nicely contrast the otherwise all white kitchen.

Southwestern Kitchen

By contrast, this southwestern style kitchen in Jamison has a distinctive style and color scheme with handmade terracotta tiles and the warm wood hue of the cabinets.  The family oriented kitchen is packed with features like a pot filler, built-in laundry center, and excellent storage options.

Accessible Bath

The focal point of this transitional style bathroom in Newtown is the open, accessible shower with a thresholdless shower base, grab bars, and a built in bench for easy shower seating.  Combined with the hanging vanity cabinet and mosaic tile accents, this bathroom is not only stylish, it is perfect for all household members including those with mobility issues.
