Our Top 6 Designs of 2016

Every project is unique – not just for the customer, but also for our kitchen and bath design team.  When we enter a home to transform a living space, we do not just look at measurements, the location of pipes, or the number of electrical outlets.  We get to know the customer, their family life, and their personal tastes and style.  For us, every project is different because every household is different.  We always seek to complete a kitchen remodeling or bathroom renovation project that is perfect for that home.

That’s why we love to reflect on designs completed over the year, but at the same time find it difficult to pick our favorites.  Here are our top 6 favorite designs from 2016 (in no particular order):

1.  Washington Crossing Bath with a Flair

This transitional style bathroom design in Washington Crossing features all the sleek lines of a contemporary style with the warmth of a traditional bathroom.  It includes both a freestanding tub and an angled shower with built in shower seat and storage niche, for the ultimate in relaxation.  The bi-level vanity is accented by porcelain plank floor tiles and toe kick lights.

2.  A Family Tradition in Richboro

Every feature of this kitchen design in Richboro evokes a warm traditional style in a comfortable space suitable for day-to-day family life, entertaining, or holiday gatherings.  The island includes a quartz and wood countertop, offering both work and dining space.  The large wine refrigerator offers ample room for wine storage and is perfect for entertaining.

3.  Traditional Glamor

This unique traditional powder room combines a distressed finish vanity with a Carrara countertop, patterned wallpaper, and a classic marble tile floor design.  Complemented by brass hardware and an ornate mirror, this one-of-a-kind powder room offers a glamorous touch in a space that will be frequented by family and visitors alike.

4.  Farmhouse Kitchen with Extras

When the existing space is not sufficient, one option is to extend the kitchen remodel beyond the current kitchen walls.  In this design, a 2ft x 22ft kitchen addition was part of the renovation project.  It resulted in a great room style space, that incorporated reclaimed barn beams and wood.  The farmhouse sink, slate veneer on the hood, and stone fireplace and columns all create an inviting farmhouse style kitchen.

5.  Stylish Comfort in Yardley

The large glass shower enclosure in this design includes features such as a custom shower niche, built in shower seat, rainfall and handheld showerheads, and wood plank tile floor.  This, along with the freestanding tub, offer all the comfort of a relaxing spa in your own home.  The multi-level vanity includes two sinks with mirrors above each sink.

6.  A Craft Lover’s Dream

If you enjoy sewing, knitting, creating paper crafts, or any other creative endeavor, wouldn’t you love to have a dedicated space for these activities?  The craft room pictured here was custom designed to meet all the needs of a dedicated crafter, with plenty of specialized storage, a pull-out ironing board, a cutting island, and space for two sewing machines.  Spend your time getting lost in creative pursuits, not in searching for the right color thread or a suitable place to lay out and cut your fabric.
