Twice a year we attend the SEN Design Group’s educational and informative conferences.  The SEN Design Group is the nation’s first and largest kitchen and bath buying group. One of the key pillars of SEN is industry education, and the bi-annual conferences are one of the ways that SEN delivers top notch kitchen and bath design educational resources. While it is difficult to pick, here are the top 10 things we saw at the SEN Spring 2017 conference.

Social media offers an opportunity to share our latest projects, design tips, and inspirations.  It is also an excellent way to get feedback from our clients, design community colleagues, and design enthusiasts.  We always love to find out which designs trigger the greatest interest from our social media community.  Of the more than 150 photos we posted to Pinterest last year, why was this photo our most popular?

Home renovations can be both exciting and overwhelming. From flooring and cabinetry to fixtures and paint colors, there are a lot of important decisions to consider when undergoing a kitchen or bathroom remodel. In addition to all of the aesthetic changes, a lot happens behind the walls.

There are many ways we welcome visitors to our homes, particularly overnight guests.  You may offer them refreshments, or fix up the guest bedroom so they have their own cozy space to relax and sleep.  What about the bathroom?  Other than having a bed to sleep in, guests want to know that they have a welcoming, comfortable place to put their toothbrush and toiletries, to shower, and to get ready. 

Whether you are updating your home to live in or preparing your home to sell, having a modern, functional, and beautiful kitchen and bathroom is critical. These areas are the most used rooms in a home, by family and guests. Therefore, it is important that these rooms reflect the personalities of those who live there.

In historic Newtown, PA, January tends to bring us cold and sometimes stormy weather.  The new year also offers the perfect time to reflect on our kitchen and bath design achievements from the previous year and think about our goals for the year ahead.  There’s no better way to kick off the year than by attending the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) held by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA).
